Dr.Adam Loui Al-Bendawi

Dr Adam Al-Bendawi qualified in 2018 from Lithuanian University of Health Sciences LSMU and completed internship at LSMU odontology faculty hospital.
After completion of his internship, he moved back home to Sweden to work as a general dental practitioner for Vastra Gotaland public dental service as well as a private dentist at a dental practice in Gothenburg.
He then moved to the UK, to further his experience. He is now working as an associate dentist at {my)dentist, Rosse Street.
He is passionate about providing high quality dental care as well as ensuring that all patients receive the utmost service. His main areas of interest are primary care, oral surgery and restorative dentistry. He has attended minor oral surgery courses, which have facilitated performing surgical procedures efficiently. Pursuing a gateway to progress to specialist training, he is soon planning to undertake a MSc in Restorative Dentistry to acquire the advanced techniques and clinical expertise to offer enhanced, contemporary treatments.
In his spare time, he enjoys socialising with friends, watching favourite tv shows, or simply reading novels.

Dr.Ammar Hussain

Dr Ammar Hussain qualified from University of Dundee in 2019. He is one of the associates here at {my}dentist Shipley.
Ammar studied in Dundee and has now returned to his home town with his family. He is passionate about dentistry and his favourite part of his work is connecting with his patients to ensure they feel comfortable and confident when choosing their path to oral health. Equally, he enjoys investing time in patients to ensure those who may be nervous, have a happy patient journey and feel confident and comfortable with the work he does. He will be soon offering clear aligner teeth straightening treatment and is always developing his skills within the sector.
In his free time he enjoys reading, playing football, spending time with family & friends and volunteering at youth clubs

Dr.Andrew Wilkinson (Azz Dental Limited)

Andrew qualified from the University of Sheffield in 1981 and has worked in both NHS & private practices since then. He obtained his Post Graduate Diploma in General Dental Practice in 1993. He has a specialist interest in Orthodontics and is able to offer both fixed & removable teeth straightening solutions. He also has an interest in cosmetic dentistry and is able to use a wide selection of treatments to improve your smile. As a brand holder for Denture Excellence, Andrew can offer a wide range of cosmetic dentures.
Andrew has a very calm and caring approach and will listen to any worries you may have about your treatment. Andrew lives in Skipton with his family and is a keen motor biker and loves to spend time outdoors with his wife Zoe and his beloved Labrador dogs.

Dr.Charles Kenneth Sheard

Dr Charlie Sheard graduated from the University of Manchester in 2020. Since then he has worked across Yorkshire providing NHS and private dentistry. He is currently undertaking further training in advanced restorative dentistry, which is where his main clinical interested lie.
Charlie is passionate about excellent patient care and gold standard clinical skills. If you haven’t been to the dentist in a while and are wanting a fresh start, Charlie is the dentist for you. He provides professional whitening, composite bonding and tooth straightening as well as everyday dental treatments such as dentures, crowns and bridgework.
Out of work Charlie enjoys going to the gym, spending time with family and friends and eating good food.

Dr.David Ford

David Ford qualified from the University of Leeds in 2000 and worked in general practice until he moved to Australia. He then worked in different tiers of the dental system, including an aboriginal clinic in Western Australia. Since returning to the UK in 2005, David has worked as an associate dentist completing an Advanced Restorative Course. David’s main area of interest lies in the provision of dental implants to restore patients missing teeth which he has been doing since 2009. He was awarded the Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons; a course which has been recognised as the gold standard in implant training by the General Dental Council. He offers a wide range of dental treatment, helping patients with complex functional and aesthetic problems, with and without the use of implants. Away from work David spends time with his wife and daughter, finding time to read a good book now and then

Dr Ibraheem qualified from University of Leeds in 2022, joining our team at Shipley in September. Ibraheem is currently undergoing a restorative training course with one of the UK’s most prominent aesthetic & cosmetic dentist, to further develop his skills, as he is still early into his career. He is excited and thoroughly enjoys dentistry. Ibraheem is passionate about delivering excellent patient care whether that be NHS or private treatment. He offers clear aligner teeth straightening teeth, teeth whitening and enjoys restorative work such as crowns and veneers.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends and going out for food.

Dr.Iulia Aflorei

Dr. Iulia Aflorei qualified in 2002 from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, in Jassy Romania. She worked in a general dental practice and has 4 years of experience as Clinical Teaching Fellow at University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Jassy, Prosthetic Department.
She moved to the UK and joined {my}dentist in June 2012. Since then she has worked at Russell Court Dental Practice, Cottingley, providing both NHS and private treatment, she has recently joined our Shipley practice on Rosse St when the two practices merged.
During her time in the UK, Iulia has attended numerous training courses and dental conferences and has completed an Advanced Restorative Course at Tipton Training Manchester.
She has a special interest in minimal invasive aesthetic dentistry, short term Orthodontics, she is a qualified Invisalign and 6 Month Smile provider and has completed training in Composite Bonding and mini smile makeover.
Outside of work Iulia enjoys travelling, reading a good book and spending time with her family whenever possible.

Dr Lisa Martin qualified in 1999 at Leeds Dental Institute and is an experienced General Dentist who also carries out aesthetic treatments. She has a wealth of experience gained over her time at the practice and is passionate about the delivery of excellent care through the NHS or on an affordable private basis. Dr Martin also offers teeth straightening using the clear aligner system called Invisalign. Her caring, kind and professional nature ensures all her patients feel comfortable and well looked after during their visit.
Outside of work, in her spare time Dr Martin thoroughly enjoys keeping fit and spending time with her family.

Dr.Martyn Craig Thompson

Craig Thompson qualified from Leeds Dental School in 1986, gaining his LDS from The Royal College of Surgeons in London. Craig has worked in general dental practice, locally and in Leeds, ever since.
He joined our Shipley practice in February 2023 and keeps up to date with all aspects of dentistry by regularly attending postgraduate training courses. A particular interest is endodontics, using contemporary techniques for root fillings to preserve natural teeth. Craig is studying towards a MSc, at the University of Chester, is a member of the British Endodontic Society and takes referrals from practice colleagues and other local dentists.

Dr.Mustafa Shihab

Dr. Mustafa Shihab graduated in 2004, since then he has attended several training courses all over the world including America, Europe, Dubai and Australia. He has also worked in a few countries before he settled in Leeds.
Mustafa’s greatest achievement so far has been gaining a Masters degree in Aesthetic & Restorative dentistry from the university of Manchester in 2015. He continues to attend conferences and courses to deliver the best possible dental care for his patients and has a special interest in cosmetic, restorative and facial aesthetics.
He is a calm and caring person who will put you at ease and give you confidence from start to finish. He loves to restore teeth to make them healthy again, however he also understands the importance of a beautiful smile.
Like all his colleagues in our practice, Mustafa is dedicated to completing treatments in as painless and effortless way as possible.
In his spare time he loves to play football, cycle and enjoy a good book.

Dr.Risha Hussain

Dr Risha Hussain Peace graduated with Honours in 2008. She is a well known cosmetic dentist and an experienced aesthetic doctor and trainer. She has completed various post graduate qualifications in cosmetic dentistry and facial aesthetics.
She is a leading Invisalign provider (clear braces) and an expert on composite bonding to create bespoke smiles.
She has a special interest in facial aesthetics and rejuvenation. She owned a cosmetic clinic in London for many years offering smile makeovers and non surgical face lift treatments.
Risha’s open and easy manner has made her popular among her patients. Outside work she enjoys spending time with her young family and doing outdoor activities.

Miss.Katie Jade Watson

Katie began her dental career in 2010 and initially qualified as a dental nurse in 2012. She then later went on to study for a diploma in Dental Hygiene and Therapy in Salford and completed her course in March 2020.
Katie has always been passionate about dentistry since being at high school. She really enjoys improving patient's smiles, particularly in removing staining and improving the health of her patients gums. She also enjoys doing fillings.
In her spare time she likes going out and socialising with friends and family and also caring for her British blue cat called Jesse.

Mrs.Alison Wilson

Allison Wilson qualified as a dental hygienist at Leeds Dental University in 1997. Since then, Allison has worked for both the NHS and private practices. She is also keen in providing oral health education in schools.
Dental hygienists are specifically trained members of the dental team to provide a vital role in oral health care and prevention of dental diseases, educating patients on an individual basis with oral hygiene advice to achieve optimal oral health.
Allison is involved in the care of routine patients as well as those with more complex needs, such as advanced gum disease, implant maintenance and cosmetic stain removal using Airflow.
Allison prides herself in putting patients at ease through good communication and a friendly, approachable manner, as this is a vital aspect of her job role.
Throughout her career she has experience working with a wide range of patients, including those with anxiety and phobias.
Outside of surgery she enjoys travelling, going out for walks, spin classes and spending time with family and friends.
