Welcome to {my}dentist Chasetown, a 5-surgery practice found on the High Street in Chasetown, Burntwood. You can find parking on Willett Avenue to the side of the practice and for those needing public transport, there is a bus route running down the High Street. We are providers of both NHS and Private treatments, including our {my}options affordable private scheme for more flexible appointments without the private price tag. Some of our available treatments include Invisalign Go, Fixed Orthodontic Treatments, Implants, Facial Aesthetics and Hygiene appointments.

Ioannis Koutsamanis DipDS, DWSI- Orthodontics (Athens) Ioannis graduated in Athens in 1992 with a Diploma in Dental Surgery. He has a special interest in Orthodontics and has worked in Chasetown as our Orthodontist since 2012, Providing NHS alongside private treatment. Ioannis regularly attends seminars as he is always looking to develop his knowledge and skill base. Ioannis aims to help patients understand their treatment and how best to prevent dental issues whilst having Orthodontic treatment and works with patients to provide the best results possible for each individual. When Ioannis isn’t working he enjoys playing Tennis, watching sports, travelling and visits his family in Greece during the holidays.
Dr.Malgorzata Rajchel Qualified from: Lek Dent Bialystock, Poland, 2002 GDC No: 109247

Malgorzata Rajchel Lek Dent, PGCert Endodontology Malgorzata, more fondly known by colleagues and patients as Margaret has been with the practice since 2011. Having qualified in Poland in 2002 Margaret has worked as a general dentist until broadening her knowledge further in 2018 and gaining a Postgraduate certificate in Endodontology, after developing a keen interest in endodontics. Margaret has built up extensive experience in dental treatments and provides treatment both under NHS and private contracts. Margaret can speak fluent German and Polish. When she isn’t at work, she enjoys walking her dog, riding her bike and going to the gym.

Mohammed loves transforming peoples smiles and giving them the smiles, they always wanted. This means he is very focused on his work and endeavours to achieve the best results for his patients. Outside of work Mohammed enjoys his hobbies alongside spending time with his family.

Shalini Tandon BDS,Stat Exam,MJDF RCS Shalini has worked at Chasetown since 2008 having gained IQE qualification in London (2005) she then gained her MJDF qualification in 2009. She is a registered member of the Royal College of Surgeons and a fellow of Faculty of General Dental Practice. In 2017 Shalini achieved qualification in Facial Aesthetics having gained knowledge of Anti-aging treatments and Fillers, Shalini has since been able to offer this to patients in practice helping patients meet there acquired aesthetics. Having worked at the practice for many years, Shalini is able to offer a comforting and supportive environment to returning and new patients. Offering both NHS and private treatment. In her spare time Shalini enjoys spending time with family, walking, travelling and doing yoga.

What are dental implants?
Dental implants are a fixed solution for missing teeth that are the closest possible replacement for natural teeth. They involve one or more titanium screws being inserted into your jawbone to mimic a natural tooth root. Dental crowns are securely attached to these to fill the gaps in your mouth. Because dental implants are securely anchored in your jaw you’ll have the confidence to comfortably eat whatever you like.

Consultation Your initial consultation will be with either our Implant Surgeon or Treatment Coordinator (TCO), who can discuss the different types of implants, single or multiple depending on your need. Following this there may be a need for a more clinical focused consultation.
Diagnostic Scans We will carry out a number of digital scans, to build a digital 3D model of your mouth so we can get a clear picture of the area we will place the implant, and a more detailed X-ray using a Cone Beam Computer Tomography scanner so that our Implant surgeon can assess the state of the bone below the gum to get a really clear picture of your treatment need.
Treatment Plan Once our experienced implant surgeon has assessed all of you scans they will explain the nature of your treatment, the stages involved and costs. We offer flexible payment options to make implants even more affordable.
Commence Treatment Once you are happy we will begin treatment. The length and numbers of appointments will vary depending on the complexity of your particular need, but your Implant Surgeon will have detailed all of this in your treatment plan.
Implant Placed Once the implant(s) are placed it may be necessary it might be necessary to allow time for healing before attaching the replacement teeth. Once we are happy the implant has healed we will arrange a series of appointments to fabricate the replacement teeth.
Aftercare Your Implant Surgeon will advise you about looking after your implant and may well give you some painkillers to help with the pain over the days after your surgery as well as detailed advice about cleaning the implants and the teeth attached to them.
