Dr.Ailie Monro

Ailie graduated with BDS Honours from the university of London in 2001. Since 2001, she has spent her time in and around the Plymouth area where she had fallen in love with Dartmoor.
Ailie has been at the Whitehouse since 2012, where she sees most of our young patients and families. She is a strong believer in prevention, and making a trip to visit us as fun as possible for all our children.
Ailie has recently undertaken Invisalign Go! Training, and is now able to offer simple orthodontic treatment with clear braces. She is also able to provide a range of cosmetic treatments and particularly enjoys helping patients create the smile they have always wanted.
Ailie is also a member of Denplan and {my}dentist Plan if you prefer to spread the costs of your dental care monthly.
When not at work, Ailie can be found ferrying her 2 girls to various activities, chasing the dog around the woods or just relaxing with a good book!

Dr.Caroline Abernethy
(Hygienist)

Caroline has worked within the {my}dentist family since 2012 and settled in the Plympton Practice in 2016 enjoying the variety of work it provides.
Caroline has been a Plymouth resident for over 30 years with 2 grown children. Her hobby list is quite extensive but has a real passion for Tennis which she has been playing since the age of 11 years old.
In the field of Dentistry, Caroline spent her first 13 years in the Royal Navy and subsequently in Plymouth at various mixed Practices having an interest in Periodontal Disease.
Caroline prides herself on being understanding to all her patient’s dental requirements. Caroline enjoys a chat but will always listen sympathetically, putting patients at ease.

Dr.Peter Daniel Clive Reville

Peter qualified from Guy's, King’s and St Thomas' Dental Institute, London in 2002. After graduating, he worked in general practice and oral and maxillofacial surgery as part of a general professional training scheme. In 2004, Peter gained membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons of England. Since then, Peter has completed further qualifications with the Faculty of General Dental Practice and University of Bristol.
Peter has an MSc in Restorative Dentistry, which he passed with Distinction. He continues his learning by regularly attending courses and conferences- and within his role as secretary of the Plymouth section of The British Dental Association. Peter also works as a clinical supervisor for undergraduate dental students at Plymouth University, ensuring he stays up to date with best practice. Peter enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, although his main area of interest is in restorative dentistry, including dental implant treatment.
Where possible, Peter prefers to take a minimally invasive approach to dentistry. His patients' comfort and well-being are always his top priority. Peter is also experienced in providing dental sedation for patients who are worried about having dental treatment.

Dr.Richard Aldridge
(Dental Implant Surgeon)

Richard qualified in 2002 from Guys hospital in London and later gained membership to the Royal College of surgeons in 2004. He moved to Plymouth in 2007 to be nearer the sea. The plan was to indulge his passion for scuba diving although 3 energetic dogs, and a daughter have somewhat got in the way of this.
In 2007 he embarked on a number of courses aimed at improving his interest in cosmetic dentistry and facial anaesthetics. These included courses in wrinkle relaxing injection, facial fillers and chemical peels, Invisalign braces and Six month smiles. In 2014 Richard completed a course at the Eastman hospital in dental implants. This is shortly to be followed with a course in sinus lift procedures.
Richard has been a regular in the Plymouth Herald featuring in both ‘ask the expert’ section and heading ‘drop a decade’ makeover team.
Richard offers both routine dentistry to his regular list of patients together with an increasingly more cosmetic procedures and implant focused treatment plans for patients referred to him.

Mrs.Elizabeth Higgins
(Hygienist)

Liz graduated from Bristol University Dental Hospital in 2007 with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene.
She grew up in Plymouth and loves being close to the sea, so moved back to the area upon graduating.
Liz has worked at the Whitehouse part-time since qualifying as well as other practices in the Plymouth area.
She is passionate about her role and helping patients maintain all aspects of their oral care. She has a gentle touch, is kind and understanding and takes pride in her ability to build confidence in nervous patients.
Outside work Liz enjoys running, keeping fit, swimming and walking her dog. She also has 2 young boys which keeps her very busy.

Mrs.Hannah Rofe

Hannah qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2012 and has since gained experience as a Head Nurse and a Practice Manager in many locations within the {my}dentist family.
Hannah has a passion for dentistry and is an enthusiastic member of the team striving to ensure patients receive the best journey throughout their treatment.
She prides herself in her work and the feel-good factor in making patients feel confident by improving their smile.
Outside of work Hannah has her hands full with two small children who she enjoys chasing around the park and enjoys home gardening and growing her own vegetables
