Welcome to mydentist Eastleigh in Hampshire, a large but friendly 10 surgery practice located on Market Street. You can find us in the heart of Eastleigh, opposite Costa Coffee & vision express. We are a 4 minute walk from both Eastleigh Train station operated by South Western Railway, Southern to name a few & Eastleigh Bus station where a network of regular bus routes from Bluestar & Stagecoach connect Eastleigh to Southampton & other destinations. There is access from both the M3 junction 12 & the M27 Junction 5, with a vast amount of parking available in Eastleigh, including Mitchell road multistory at the rear of the building, street parking & 2 Swan centre car parks. Parking in Eastleigh can be paid for with cash, card or ringo & there is free parking after 6pm. We take pride in our range & quality of treatments provided, from NHS to Private dentistry including our affordable private option & pay monthly Plans. Our dedicated clinicians provide treatments such as Implants, Teeth Straightening using clear braces (Invisalign & ClearCorrect), Root Canal Treatments (Endodontics), Oral Surgery, Hygiene & Teeth Whitening. We offer digital scans, OPG & CBCT scans where needed!

    Having practiced dentistry for over 30 years Matthew has a wealth of experience in all aspects of Restorative and Surgical Implant Dentistry. For the last eleven years Matthew has limited his practice solely to the field of Implant Dentistry and placed in excess of 5000 implants. Matthew is experienced in all aspects of implant dentistry, providing single tooth solutions to more complex full jaw cases. Matthew provides the full range of supporting procedures, such as bone grafting, soft tissue grafts and sinus lifts, etc. He strives for perfection and will only deliver the very highest standards of care to all patients. Much of Matthew's time is spent on complicated cases which may involve, large Bone Grafts, guided implant surgery, full mouth teeth in a day cases or highly aesthetic cases.     After graduating in 2021 from the University of Portsmouth with a degree in Dental Hygiene and Therapy, Ellie joined {my}dentist working in both the Copnor and Havant practices as a hygienist. As well as providing routine hygiene care she also offers non-surgical periodontal therapy for the treatment of gum disease. Ellie has a special interest in cosmetic treatments and whitening and currently offers both Enlighten and Phillips Zoom systems in practice. She is also passionate about oral health education and helping patients take ownership of their oral health as she believes that having a healthy and beautiful smile can really enhance a person’s well-being as well as helping them feel confident in their appearance. What are dental implants?
Dental implants are a fixed solution for missing teeth that are the closest possible replacement for natural teeth. They involve one or more titanium screws being inserted into your jawbone to mimic a natural tooth root. Dental crowns are securely attached to these to fill the gaps in your mouth. Because dental implants are securely anchored in your jaw you’ll have the confidence to comfortably eat whatever you like.

  • Consultation Your initial consultation will be with either our Implant Surgeon or Treatment Coordinator (TCO), who can discuss the different types of implants, single or multiple depending on your need. Following this there may be a need for a more clinical focused consultation.

  • Diagnostic Scans We will carry out a number of digital scans, to build a digital 3D model of your mouth so we can get a clear picture of the area we will place the implant, and a more detailed X-ray using a Cone Beam Computer Tomography scanner so that our Implant surgeon can assess the state of the bone below the gum to get a really clear picture of your treatment need.

  • Treatment Plan Once our experienced implant surgeon has assessed all of you scans they will explain the nature of your treatment, the stages involved and costs. We offer flexible payment options to make implants even more affordable.

  • Commence Treatment Once you are happy we will begin treatment. The length and numbers of appointments will vary depending on the complexity of your particular need, but your Implant Surgeon will have detailed all of this in your treatment plan.

  • Implant Placed Once the implant(s) are placed it may be necessary it might be necessary to allow time for healing before attaching the replacement teeth. Once we are happy the implant has healed we will arrange a series of appointments to fabricate the replacement teeth.

  • Aftercare Your Implant Surgeon will advise you about looking after your implant and may well give you some painkillers to help with the pain over the days after your surgery as well as detailed advice about cleaning the implants and the teeth attached to them.

Clinically safe

All mydentist patients have their treatment overseen by a UK registered dentist. We will make sure that your teeth and overall oral health are in good shape before we start teeth straightening and check in with you regularly to make sure that the treatment is progressing as planned. That means you can rest assured that at the end of treatment your teeth will look and feel great.
