Welcome to {my}dentist Narborough Road South, Leicester. We are a 2 surgery practice with 4 clinicians on hand to provide a variety of NHS, private and {my}options treatment plans including veneers, take home teeth whitening and Clear Correct (teeth straightening). Our practice is a 7 minute walk from Kirkland Road bus stop, with public parking surrounding the practice. If you have any questions or would like to book in for a consultation the team would love to hear from you. We welcome all patients to our practice and ensure all individuals are treated with the utmost care and attention from our highly skilled staff. We look forward to seeing you soon.

    "Dr Waqas Tahir was very friendly, professional and helpful! Highly recommend. Came in after considerable tooth pain + locked jaw for same day appointment. Quickly investigated and removed wisdom tooth after 111 and another dental practice was not useful. Came back for routine check, found out about crowding issue that previous dentist had mentioned and fillings needed. As my teeth are very tightly packed together, it was a tough job but he did brilliant job and also sanded down areas of fillings I felt were not smooth enough. Thorougly explained problems, xray scan, dental hygiene routine, treatment options and costs. Lovely and friendly staff. Very accommodating for appointment times to fit around my 9-5 work hours and the fact I live on the other side of the city. Just a great experience despite not actively liking being at the dentist!"

  • Dr.Mohammad Waqas Tahir (Mwt Aesthetics Limited) Qualified from: BDS UK, 2015 GDC No: 258262
    Dr Waqas Tahir graduated from the Universities of Exeter & Plymouth in 2015. He has continued his professional development with a wide range of courses to provide a variety of cosmetic and restorative treatments. Waqas has a friendly and welcoming approach and aims to build trust with all his patients, offering a personalised service and inspiring patients to take great care of their oral health. He has a passion to treat anxious patients successfully with a calm and reassuring approach. He always endeavours to provide the highest level of care and quality treatment with the patient’s best interests at heart. Waqas loves to provide ethical and minimally invasive treatments with great emphasis on aftercare ensuring all patients leave with peace of mind. He offers a range of teeth straightening options using market leading systems for cosmetic braces and removable aligners like Six Month Smiles, QST, Invisalign and Clear Correct. He also has a keen interest in dentures, successfully treating challenging cases and providing natural looking teeth that blend into your smile. He is constantly determined to excel and develop his skillset further; and is currently training for implant surgery. “Redefining smiles to improve patient confidence and quality of life”.
  • Dr.Pragya Obeja Qualified from: BDS India, 2005 GDC No: 188324
    Pragya graduated in 2005 in India. After clearing the ORE in UK, Pragya has worked as a General Dental Practitioner across various practices throughout England over 10 years. Pragya enjoys practicing dentistry and find it very rewarding to put a smile on her patients’ faces. Pragya hopes to continue to spread many more smiles throughout her career. Pragya is committed to high standards of clinical care for her patients. Pragya joined {my}dentist Leicester in 2016, prior to this she worked at the Oakham site, Pragya is happy with the support she receives from the whole practice team which makes it a really pleasant place to work.
  • Mr.Ronak Dipak Datta Qualified from: Bachelor of Dental Surgery United Kingdom, 2019 GDC No: 284107
    Ronak qualified from King’s College London in 2019 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. He joined {my}dentist in 2019 alongside Hull Royal Infirmary, working in the maxillofacial surgery department with further clinics in paediatric, restorative and orthodontic dentistry. He has travelled to Honduras to provide voluntary dental care to the local people in remote villages and has visited Australia to shadow and learn from specialist dentists. Ronak has a keen interest in prosthodontics and oral surgery and hopes to become a specialist in the future. He is currently studying for the MJDF examination and enjoys playing snooker and squash in his downtime
  • Mr.Yi Hsieh Qualified from: Grado en Odontologia University CEU San Pablo 2022 Spain, 2022 GDC No: 306345
    Yichi qualified from university of CEU San Pablo, Madrid in 2022 with a Bachelor of Dentistry. In November 2023 Yichi joined our Narborough road practice where he found his passion in aesthetics dentistry and conservative dentistry, a method of dentistry which aims to maintain as much of your natural tooth as possible. This includes both tooth coloured fillings and dental whitening. As a professional, Yichi Consistently strives to update his knowledge by attending regular courses, events, and lectures. Yi chi has a very calm approach and makes patients feel at ease. In his spare time Yichi really enjoys cooking and enjoys nature. Yichi is our newest member of the team.

We will make sure that your teeth and overall oral health are in good shape before we start teeth straightening and check in with you regularly to make sure that the treatment is progressing as planned. That means you can rest assured that at the end of treatment your teeth will look and feel great.
