We’re pleased to share an important update for patients at mydentist Bond Street, Wakefield, as part of our ongoing commitment to improving patient care and expanding access to high-quality dental services.
Following positive feedback from patients regarding our proposed move, building work has now begun on a brand-new practice at Trinity Walk Shopping Centre, Wakefield, WF1 1QS. We’re excited about the new premises and expect construction to be completed in April 2026.
Until the relocation takes place, patients should continue attending appointments at the Bond Street practice as normal.

We’re delighted to confirm that your usual clinicians and practice team will be moving with us. This means you’ll continue to receive care from the same friendly faces you know and trust, with continuity of care throughout the transition.
Due to the increased size of the new practice, colleagues and patients from our sister practice, mydentist Rishworth Street, Wakefield, will also relocate to Trinity Walk. While Rishworth Street currently provides private dental care only, this move will not change the services available to Bond Street patients, and NHS care will continue as normal.
Bringing both teams together will allow us to enhance the range of services available under one roof, increase appointment availability and provide greater flexibility in how patients access their dental care.
What will the new site be like?
Our new practice has been designed to improve accessibility, comfort and clinical capacity, helping us care for more patients while enhancing the overall experience. Key features will include:
Over 1,000 parking spaces available at the shopping centre (parking charges apply), including disabled bays, parent and child spaces, and free parking for motorbike users and cyclists
Two hours free parking with ticket validation when spending £10 or more in Sainsbury’s or Argos
A convenient location approximately a 10-minute walk from Wakefield Westgate and Wakefield Kirkgate train stations
Excellent public transport links, with Wakefield Bus Station just a one-minute walk away and additional nearby bus stops serving local and wider routes
Access via the free city bus service stopping at Wakefield Bus Station
Increased capacity, allowing us to welcome more patients than is possible within our current premises
Access to a wide range of NHS and private treatments delivered by our experienced clinicians
Additional services including implants, clear aligners, hygiene appointments and cosmetic treatments
Brand-new surgeries equipped with state-of-the-art dental technology
Full wheelchair and disabled access throughout
A modern waiting area and improved facilities designed to enhance patient comfort

We’ll contact patients again closer to the relocation date to confirm when appointments will begin at the new Trinity Walk Shopping Centre practice. In the meantime, please continue to attend appointments at mydentist Bond Street as usual.
