{my}dentist announces record salary investment

To support our teams across the UK we are investing more than £7m to increase the salaries of all our employed colleagues, the largest ever investment in our history.

Colleagues will receive an average pay increase of more than five per cent. The pay review has also been brought forward by three months, with frontline practice teams seeing the pay rise from 1 April, to further help support practice colleagues and ensure that {my}dentist continues to be a great place to work.

The salary investment has been designed to recognise and reward our frontline colleagues and ensure that {my}dentist clinicians have the best possible support network in their practices.

Tom Riall, {my}dentist Executive Chairman, said: “The role of our frontline teams is crucial to our future success and that’s why, despite the challenging financial circumstances across the UK, I’m proud to announce that, this year, we have been able to make this record investment in salaries.

“We are beginning the financial year in a strong position and in addition to our investment in salaries we are continuing to invest in our practices, digital dentistry technology and in our clinical support networks to ensure our colleagues get the support they need to grow the careers that are right for them.”

Nyree Whitley, {my}dentist Chief Clinical Officer, added: “I’m extremely pleased that we have been able to recognise the hard work of our practice colleagues with this pay increase. By retaining the best people, we ensure that our clinicians have access to the support they need in practice, while making sure patients receive the best possible care.”
