A message from our
Chief Executive Officer
The mydentist Excellence Awards are our chance to recognise the outstanding individuals and teams across mydentist who make a real difference every day through the work they do.
Our purpose at mydentist is simple: helping the nation smile and that happens in so many ways whether it’s helping a patient out of pain, boosting their confidence, supporting long‑term oral health or supporting the colleagues who deliver that care.
What you do, day in and day out, puts a smile on millions of faces every year and that’s something worth celebrating.
Once again, our People Experience and People Values sit at the heart of this year’s awards.
We want to recognise colleagues who not only demonstrate technical excellence, but who also show what it really means to live our values in everything they do.
That could be through outstanding patient care, supporting each other, developing careers, or helping to shape how we deliver dentistry across mydentist. We know there are brilliant examples happening right across mydentist and we can’t wait to hear about them.
I’m incredibly proud that the best people in dentistry choose to work at mydentist, and the Excellence Awards are dedicated to celebrating you.
This year’s awards ceremony will take place on Friday 16 October at the Manchester Deansgate Hotel and we’re really looking forward to welcoming our finalists to a night dedicated to recognising their achievements.
With 15 award categories, including the Chairman’s Award for Outstanding Contribution and our brand-new award for this year, Curodontist of the Year, there really is an opportunity for every colleague to be nominated.
If you’d like a bit of support when writing your nomination, there are tips and a short video on wisdom and Facebook Professional to make it as quick and easy as possible for you.
Full details of the categories and their criteria and everything you need to submit a strong nomination are below.
Recognising each other really does matter, and I’m very much looking forward to celebrating everyone’s achievements.
Thank you once again for everything you do and good luck!
