About mydentist, Mona Road, Anglesey

Welcome to {my}dentist Mona Road, Anglesey. We are a 3-surgery practice with 3 clinicians including a Hygienist on hand to provide a variety of NHS, private and {my}options treatment plans including dentures, take home teeth whitening and root canal. Our practice is a 4 minute walk from Rhyd Menai bus stop, with limited public parking surrounding the practice. If you have any questions or would like to book in for a consultation the team would love to hear from you. We welcome all patients to our practice and ensure all individuals are treated with the utmost care and attention from our highly skilled staff. We look forward to seeing you soon.

  • Dr.Ann Lu Qualified from: BDS Birmingham, 2019 GDC No: 284854
    Ann qualified with honours from Birmingham School of Dentistry in 2019 and completed her vocational training in London. Ann returned to Birmingham as an associate dentist for the NHS providing emergency care as well as general dentistry to a difficult and high-demand area of the city. Since 2022, Ann has been working at {my}dentist, Mona Road offering a wide range of treatments to a mix of both NHS and private patients. Ann prides herself in her calm and patient approach and is especially skilled at dental extractions. In her spare time Ann may be found climbing in Eryri (Snowdonia) having cut her teeth on Peak District gritstone during university.
  • Dr.Maria Dankova-Lipovanska Qualified from: Bulgaria Bulgaria, 2011 GDC No: 242632
    Maria qualified in 2011 in Varna, Bulgaria. She moved the same year to the UK and since then she has been working as an associate dentist at few practices in North Wales offering a wide range of both NHS and private treatments. Maria joined the {my}dentist team in 2016. She is committed to preventing oral disease offering a preventive-based approach to all treatments. Her aim is to give patients the tools they need to help to maintain a healthy mouth. She involves each patient in their own treatment, enabling them to feel comfortable throughout and empowering them to maintain the final result.
  • Dr.Mihai-Alexandru Herescu (MLM Services NW limited) Qualified from: Bucharest Romania, 2001 GDC No: 173776
    Mihai Herescu qualified as a Dental Surgeon in 2001 at UMF Bucharest . Mihai has been part of the Woodlands, Mona Road Dental Practice since 2015 and has built great professional relationships with staff and patients. Mihai offers a wide range of NHS, Private and {my}options treatments. His friendly attitude is specially appreciated when with nervous patients and is great with Children and makes them feel at ease when in surgery He prides herself as a dentist who pays attention to his patient’s needs, detail, maintaining very high standards, and delivering treatments in a caring, ethical and professional manner at all times.
  • Miss.Emily Rainford (Hygienist) Qualified from: University of Leeds united kingdom, 2014 GDC No: 149225
    Emily first started her career in dentistry when she was 19 to train as a Dental Nurse and then went on to train to become a Dental Hygienist and Therapist in 2012 at Leeds University. She graduated in 2014 and started working up in the North East for a couple of years, before moving back home to North Wales when she was pregnant with her son, to be closer to family. After her maternity leave, Emily returned in 2018 and started working for {my}dentist in Anglesey, Abergele and Prestatyn and has been with us ever since. Working as part of a great team, building strong rapports and loving to get to know her patients. Outside of work Emily loves being surrounded by her friends and family, exploring with her dog on countryside walks and spending precious time with her little boy.
