  Dr Emma Henley is the only Orthodontic Specialist at the Port Talbot Practice.She has additional expertise enabling provision for patients that require specialised orthodontic care.Emma graduated from University of Dundee in 2002 she has worked as a Vocational Trainee, a Community Dental Officer, Senior House Officer in Pediatrics, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Restorative and Oral Medicine in England and Scotland. Emma gained herMFDS from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2004. She completed her Orthodontic Specialist training in CardiffMScD and she gained her Membership in Orthodontics(MOrth)from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2010. Most of Emma’s spare time is spent with her young family taking them to football, netball or surfing. Otherwise she will be sailing, surfing or out running with the dog.   Helen was thrilled to return to {my}dentist after taking a break to become a Mum. Helen qualified at Cardiff university with an honours degree in 2010, having also spent some time in Lithuania as a dental undergraduate on an Erasmus exchange for 3 months. Helen is experienced in all general dental treatments (nhs and private), and is also an Invisalign provider. She also completed a clinical attachment at Prince Charles hospital back in 2012 to further her knowledge in oral surgery. Helen is experienced in treating all patients, but shows particular patience and sympathy to those with dental phobia and a nervous disposition.   Dr Hugo Ferreira graduated in Portugal in 2008 and joined {my}dentist Port Talbot in 2009 – he is one of the longest standing clinician in the area. Dr Ferreira has a superb relationship with his patients and all the staff at the practice, he always listens to his patients' and aims to provide the highest standards of treatment possible in a relaxed and friendly manner. Hugo has a special interest in Orthodontics and been providing Orthodontic Treatment to a mixture of children and adults in Wales since 2014 with wonderful orthodontic results. Hugo has a PG certificate 2014 and a PG diploma 2018 in Orthodontics from the University of Warwick which he graduated with merits. Hugo can provide Invisalign (comprehensive), Damon (self-ligating), Clear Correct, Six Months Smiles and Conventional Braces.   Mo qualified in 2013 with Honours Degree, From an early stage he showed real enthusiasm towards all aspects of Dentistry as he used to attend his Mum’s clinic in Dubai, where he gained a lot from her 40+ years of experience. Before he decides in 2015 to do Master’s Degree at Barts & The London School of Medicine and Dentistry where he graduated with Distinction after completing his MSc project about the quality of Panoramic & Cephalometric Xrays taken for Orthodontic Treatment at Barts and The Royal London Hospital. In addition Mo took the Royal College of Surgeons, England examinations in 2018 to award Diploma of Membership of Joint Dental Faculties (UK), Faculty of General Dental Practice and Faculty of Dental Surgery UK. Mo has joined our practice in 2019 to make a great contribution to our team, as he is particularly conscientious at what he does and always aspire to do the best for his patients. Mo has interest in Orthodontics and spends his time reading and updating his skills in recent contemporary orthodontics. In his free time Mo plays and watches football and he is big fan of Liverpool and Supports Real Madrid in Spanish La Liga.

  Dr Radu Gross qualified from Iuliu Hatieganu Medical University Romania in 2009, with a Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree. He joined {my}dentist in 2011, and has gained extensive experience in both NHS and Private Dental treatments. Radu graduated from Salford University in 2012, with a Certificate in Oral Implantology, and is continuously undertaking international theoretical and hands-on courses to support his special interest in Implantology, Periodontology and Oral Surgery. In 2020 Radu graduated with a Masters Degree in Periodontology from the University of Central Lancashire after a three year postgraduate course. Along with his special interest in Implantology, Periodontology and Full-mouth reconstructions, Radu is also passionate about aesthetic dentistry. Radu has attended a number of courses in facial aesthetics and is keen to develop this further. Sam has regular sessions at the Practice to enhance patients awareness of their own oral hygiene, as well as undertaking preventative treatment to care for his patients oral hygiene. Sam enjoys building a rapport with his patients and takes pride in trying to break the fear of seeing a dental hygienist through reassurance and support. In his spare time, Sam enjoys spending time with family and friends. Being Welsh, Sam is an avid rugby fan, and has recently started playing back for his local club. Sam has also enjoys indoor rock climbing.
