Dr.Ahmed Tahboub

After completing his dental degree at The University of Manchester, Ahmed worked at Manchester dental hospital and Manchester royal Infirmary. This allowed him to further his training in complex restorative dentistry and oral-maxillofacial surgery. During this time he was involved in surgical and dental reconstruction for patients who suffered from trauma or oral cancer. This is where he discovered his passion for dental implants and restorative dentistry.
Ahmed then completed a postgraduate certificate in restorative dentistry and a certificate in dental implants. He also completed the exam for membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (MJDF).
His attention to detail and perfectionism earns the confidence of our patients to deliver the best possible results. His ability to put you at ease and make your treatment comfortable makes him popular amongst nervous patients. He offers complex implant surgery from single implants to full mouth rehabilitation using dental implants.
In his spare time, Ahmed enjoys spending time with his young children and plays football and tennis.

Dr.Anis Dashu

Anis Dashu gained his Bachelor of dental surgery degree in 2011 after attending university in Glasgow. He joined the team at {my}dentist Burnley in August 2012. Although Burnley is his main practice, he also works at our Blackburn {my}dentist practice.
Anis has built up a solid patient base in Burnley and offers his patients choice on both NHS and private products and services. Anis offers Sedation services on a private only basis at {my}dentist Burnley.
Anis continues his professional development by attending courses and has recently gained his qualification in Sedation surgery as of February 2020.
Anis is a keen Manchester United supporter and where possible attends the football matches in his spare time.

Dr.Hassan Maan

Hassan qualified from Leeds in 2008. Hassan is a recent addition to our practice, and we are grateful to have him board as he brings experience and a high level of skill to our team. Hassan wanted to expand his dentistry, so he attended the Royal College Implant diploma course, gained a diploma in fixed and removable prosthodontics from Kings College and has done further studies in full arch Implant dentistry, sedation and occlusion. Hassan’s passion in dentistry lies with Implants and he is always looking to further his skills and knowledge in this area.
In practice Hassan offers Implants, same day teeth, full mouth rehabs and smile designs.
Outside of dentistry Hassan likes cooking , football, movies, travelling and spending time with his family.

Dr.Hossam Hafez

Hossam graduated in 2014 from Misr International University, Egypt with a BSC in Oral and Dental Medicine. Hossam quickly developed a special interest in Endodontics (root canal) completing a residency program at the University of Cairo, where he developed a strong foundation in root canal treatments. Hossam worked as a General Dental Practitioner with a Special interest in Endodontics in Egypt until September 2019, when he then moved to the UK to further enhance his expertise with an MSc in Endodontics from the University of Manchester in 2022. Currently, Hossam works at multiple practices across East Lancashire, offering both NHS and private services, with a particular focus on root canal therapy. He has been a great addition to the team and comes highly recommended. In his spare time, Hossam enjoys socialising with friends and is dab hand at Fifa!

Dr.Ikram Patel

Ikram graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2011. He then joined a prestigious practice in Fort William where he trained for a further year developing his skills in General Dentistry. During his time, Ikram was honored with the accolade of “Junior (VT) Dentist of the Year Scotland 2012”.
In 2014, Ikram enrolled on to the postgraduate MSc training program in Clinical Periodontology at the University Of Central Lancashire (UCLan), He then graduated with merit in 2016. Ikram has developed his knowledge, skills and expertise in the management for both surgical and non-surgical periodontal. He now deals with complex cases including those that have previously had little success in stabilisation of gum disease. Ikram is passionate about periodontology and the important role it plays in the oral and general health of all his patients. He is committed to continually improve his patient's dental experience and views each day as an opportunity to take his quality of care to a higher level.

Irena qualified from ISCS-N, Portugal in 2003. After finishing her degree, she worked for 3 years in a private practice where she developed her dentistry skills. Irena moved to the UK in 2006 to join {my}dentist, Padiham Road Dental Practice in Burnley and has since been working as a general dental practitioner delivering NHS and private treatments. Her aim is always to put patients at ease whilst carrying out a high standard of treatments to achieve excellent clinical results and patient goals. Committed to providing the best care possible, Irena regularly attends dental courses in a full range of subjects, including dental rehabilitation, endodontics (root canal treatment) and cosmetic dentistry.

Dr.Jakub Stuchlik

Qualifying from Faculty of Medicine at University of Palacky (Olomouc,Czech Republic 1998) Jakub obtained a first-degree Diploma in Restorative Dentistry and subsequently joined a postgraduate course which resulted in attaining the Diploma in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics 2004. During Jakub’s career he participated in several orthodontic congresses writing a number of articles for professional papers. He was a member of Editorial Board of the Journal of Czech Orthodontic Society.In 2005 Jakub moved into the UK working first as Associate Specialist but in 2009 he established his own Specialist Orthodontic Practice in Scarborough. From 2007 to 2012 he also worked in the Orthodontic and Maxillofacial Department of Scarborough Hospital treating more complex cases.
He is registered as a Specialist Orthodontist with the General Dental Council and is a member of the Specialist Practitioner Group of the British Orthodontic Society.

Dr.Junaid Guzunfhar Iqbal

Junaid graduated from the university of Manchester in 2013 after completing his foundation training in Leeds he worked in a general dental practice carrying out advanced restorative work. Junaid was then appointed as a senior house officer in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at the countess of Cheshire Hospital. Junaid successfully completed his membership of Faculty Dental Surgery and was awarded his diploma in 2015. Junaid completed a certificate in advanced restorative dentistry in Harley Street in 2016 and then perused further post graduate training in dental implantology. Junaid has developed a special interest in oral surgery and he now works in a hospital setting and multiple dental practices across Manchester, Liverpool and Lancashire accepting referrals for complex wisdom teeth, dental implants and apicectomies. Junaid offers intravenous sedation, he is also a IACSD and STAC accredited mentor for IV sedation, a SAAD Member and IV Sedation trainer. He is also an active Examiner for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.

Dr.Kin Loo

Kong Loo gained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree in 2001 after attending university in Manchester. He joined the team here at the Burnley practice in 2005 as a private and Denplan dentist. Kong is very dedicated to his patients and spends a great deal of time ensuring they receive the highest quality care and treatment. Kong has an interest in orthodontic treatments and has been carrying out treatments using clear aligners and fast braces since 2012. Kong gains great satisfaction in delivering a first-class service to all of his Denplan and private patients who he has seen for many years.

Dr.Marilou Denosta

Marilou obtained her qualification as a Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Philippines University. Marilou then successfully passed the Philippine Professional Commission board exam for dentists after graduation. Marilou's formative years as a young dentist were sharpened by working in a government funded community health office providing dental care to the less privileged members of the society. Marilou then moved to become an associate dentist in a private Orthodontic centre and has gained experience in treating patients from all walks of life.
After migrating to the UK Marilou took and passed the overseas registration exam for patients in London in September 2015. In 2016 she travelled all over the UK attending hands on training courses and she won the NSK award on the Tubules PrepEvo Roadshow of 2017. Marilou plans to embark on a masters degree either in Restorative or Pediatric Dentistry in the near future.

Dr.Muhammad Anwar

Anwar qualified as BDS in 1998 from Pakistan, after completing his internship at Punjab Dental Hospital Lahore in Pakistan in 2000. Anwar has had 18 years experience as a Private General Dentist practicing in Pakistan offering a range of treatments.
He moved to UK and passed his statutory exam(ORE) in 2016. GDC No .265752. He has completed and passed many training courses and has a special interest in Restorative Dentistry.
He has joined {my}dentist Padiham Road in July 2022 and is looking forward to a successful future treating patients here. He likes to spend his spare time reading books and traveling to explore new places around the world.

Dr.Mukul Dahake

Mukul qualified in Nagpur India in 2001, she worked in India in a private dental hospital for 2 years before relocating to the UK. Mukul did her statutory examination in 2012 and joined the {my}dentist Padiham Road family in 2013 as one of our NHS dentists. Since starting at the practice Mukul has attended many courses to sharpen her skills in general dentistry such as Zoom in surgery whitening and Denture Excellence. She now has a growing interest in developing her restorative technique and in the future would like to gain more insight in facial aesthetics.
In her spare time Mukul likes to spend time with her family and friends, go on long country walks and is reigniting her love of dance.

Dr.Plamen Murzov

Plamen qualified in Sofia in Bulgaria in 2007. After working for a few years in Bulgaria in his own family run dental practice, he came to the UK and started with {my}dentist in March 2009 working within the NHS.
Plamen enjoys developing his skills and has attended a variety of courses covering all topics from general dentistry including, Zoom whitening, Enlighten whitening, composite bonding, Denture Excellence dentures and teeth straightening. Whilst developing his skills Plamen’s interest in the different Orthodontic treatment’s grew, leading him to decide to do the Quick Straight Teeth course, Invisalign and ClearCorrect.
Plamen works in a variety of {my}dentist practices as a private, Denplan and NHS dentist.

Dr.Ruth Patefield

Ruth started at the practice in 1993.Her caring nature means she has the ability to put patients at ease and offers a gentle and personal approach to dentistry. Ruth is committed to achieving consistent high quality dentistry and has attended many post graduate courses. Ruth completed a 15 month course in Implant Dentistry run by Dr Chris Lucas and has been providing implants at the practice since. Ruth also provides cosmetic dentistry to improve the appearance of a patient’s smile as well as Denture Excellence dentures and a full variety of other treatments. Ruth has been very involved in the mentoring and appraisals of dental colleagues, and worked for the local area team as a dental appraiser for local NHS dentists. In October 2011, Ruth became one of the Clinical Support Managers. Ruth is married with two sons. In her spare time she enjoys playing the violin and golf.

Dr.Satwinder Singh Hira

Satwinder gained his initial degree in Radiotherapy before going on to later train as a Dentist and gain his master’s in Dental Implantology in 2015. He relocated to the North-West from London before settling in our Blackburn and Buckshaw Village practices in 2021. Satwinder’s passion is in dental implants and his role focuses solely on this at {my}dentist.
His aim is to provide patients with reliable, predictable and functional restorations but above all he strives to create a calm and relaxed environment for his patients. He is friendly, approachable, down to earth and committed to delivering high standards of dental care. Due to Satwinder’s vast experience he is regularly involved in educating, training and mentoring in the placement of dental implants.
In his spare time, he enjoys cycling, weight lifting and cooking as well as spending time with his family and his young children who keep him very busy.

Dr.Yahya Matadar

After attending university in Manchester, Yahya gained his Bachelors of Dental Surgery degree in 2011. He joined the team at {my}dentist Burnley in August 2012 and currently enjoys a dual role within the business after taking up a position in our Haslingden practice. Yahya is able to offer a variety of treatments both NHS and Private including being one of our Clear Correct teeth straightening providers. He is well liked within both practices and has built up a good reputation and trust among his patients and peers.
Yahya enjoys learning and regularly attends courses both online and in person to expand his dental knowledge in all areas.

Miss.Billie-Jo Fallows

Billie-Jo started as a dental nurse when she was 18 years old and gained a NVQ level 3 in dental nursing and oral health promotion. She then went on to qualify at Liverpool dental university in January 2009 in a combined diploma in hygiene and therapy.
She has been working in dentistry for 20 years now and still has the same love and passion for it now as she did when she decided to apply for university. Billie says 'Nothing that gives me as much job satisfaction as helping and treating my patients.'
Billie-Jo also has qualifications in sports massage and fitness which she enjoys doing in her spare time along with hiking and paddle boarding and spending time with her 3 children.

Laura join our team in November 2022 after qualifying as an Orthodontic Therapist from Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh in 2022. Previous to qualifying Laura worked in dentistry for 11 years as a qualified Dental Nurse, she brings a vast wealth of dental experience to the practice. Being passionate in her dental nursing career made her want to progress into the orthodontic therapy role which enables her to support the Orthodontist at the practice delivering a seamless patient journey for those with braces. Laura's calming approach to her work puts our patients at ease and gives reassurance throughout their time at the practice. Laura loves a good game of football as a keen Manchester City fan and often goes to watch her team play at the Etihad.

Saba was awarded the BSDHT by the University for the highest overall performance during her course. Prior to gaining her qualification Saba worked as a dental nurse for {my}dentist in Bury for over 7 years, she enjoyed all aspects of dentistry and worked alongside a dental therapist which made her want to progress further in dentistry. Saba has a real passion for helping her patients improve and maintain their oral health. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, meeting new people, travelling and exploring new places. Saba is Bilingual and can speak both English and Urdu

Kathryn qualified from Liverpool Dental Hospital in 2007 as a hygienist/therapist and has 14 years’ experience working in general dental practice. Kathryn is passionate about improving gum health, she says ” I love working as a Dental Hygienist as I help patients to improve and maintain their oral health, one of the most rewarding parts of my work is helping nervous patients achieve their goals. “Kathryn has furthered her knowledge and has an additional certificate in dental implant hygiene. As well as working at {my}dentist Burnley, Kathryn also works at {my}dentist Haslingden.
In her spare time she enjoys long distance running; completing her first marathon in
2020 to raise money for charity, road cycling and hill walking with her dogs.
