Welcome to mydentist Albert Road, Jarrow. We are a 3-surgery practice with 3 clinicians on hand to provide a variety of NHS and private treatment plans including dentures and take home teeth whitening . Within our team we have Therapist Miss Karen Reid who is qualified as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist. Karen has a passion for helping patients with their tooth and oral hygiene needs and educating children and families from a young age. Our practice is a 2 minute walk from Victoria Road Eats-Jubilee Court bus stop and a 6 minute walk from Jarrow train station, with limited public parking surrounding the practice. If you have any questions or would like to book in for a consultation the team would love to hear from you. We welcome all patients to our practice and ensure all individuals are treated with the utmost care and attention from our highly skilled staff. We look forward to seeing you soon.

  • Mr.Scott Brian Matthews Qualified from: BDS Newcastle University 2017 UK, 2017 GDC No: 275335
    Scott qualified from Newcastle University in 2017 and completed his vocational training year at a practice in Birmingham, staying on as an associate once his vocational training was complete. He moved back to the North East when the initial coronavirus lockdown was announced, and has worked for the {my}dentist group since. He is passionate about delivering great care to his patients and believes in a minimally invasive approach where possible. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys spending time with his friends and fiancé, going for meals, playing pool, and is a follower of Newcastle United, previously holding a season ticket.
  • Mrs.Nadia Qaiser Qualified from: Statutory Exam 2015 BDS Khyber Medical University 2010 Pakistan, 2010 GDC No: 256523
    I was born in Pakistan and graduated from Khyber Medical University , Pakistan in 2010.I worked there in a Dental hospital for 2 years and then I moved to England after getting married. I completed my statutory exams in 2015 and got registered with GDC. I started working at {my}dentist Albert Road,Jarrow as a general dental practitoner in 2018 and working in this practice since then. I constantly try to improve my knowledge and skills and am committed to make my patients happy and feel at ease. I have got two lovely kids and enjoy my free time looking after them.
  • Ms.Karen Reid (Therapist) Qualified from: BSc Oral Health and Dental Sciences United Kingdom, 2021 GDC No: 297373
    Karen graduated as a Dental Therapist in 2021 from Newcastle University. She is originally from Scotland but decided to stay in the North East after qualifying and now works between multiple {my}dentist practices in Newcastle and Sunderland. Karen has an interest in restorative dentistry and also enjoy working with children, she aim to always put her patients at ease and help them to feel confident in their smile. Outside of dentistry Karen has a love for sport and keeping fit. She was a competitive swimmer for 12 years and also enjoy travelling to new places (or back home) and spending time with family and friends.
