We’re delighted that twenty of our mydentist practices in the UK are officially accredited by Save Face – gold starring them as safe and qualified to carry out non-surgical cosmetic treatments such as dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle injections.

Legally, anyone in the UK trained to do so can carry out non-surgical cosmetic treatments and the industry has come under huge pressure to provide protection for patients from an ever increasing number of rogue practitioners who are subjecting patients to unnecessary risk, complications and side effects.  Save Face provided a register of accredited medical practitioners   – all of whom have been assessed against a stringent set of industry specific standards, to ensure that consumers can navigate their way to a safe pair of hands

One of our practices which has been accredited is our mydentist practice in Barnstaple. We spoke to lead dentist Rehanna Beckhurst who said: “It’s hugely important to have an accreditation scheme like Save Face in this highly unregulated industry. It brings into focus the vast difference between being treated by someone who is medically qualified and has the knowledge and expertise to deliver safe and effective treatments to those who are cutting corners and are not following procedure.
